should I give up on 7.1 in the bedroom?

My head is basically against the wall so the surrounds are so far forward its almost pointless. Games that are in 5.1 sound not great. 7.1 contend is pretty rare.Would it be better to just downgrade to 5.1 and put the surrounds in back?

PS4 is my main jam but i also have DirecTV, FireTV, Chromecast. PS3, Wii (that I was gunna ad retro games to but gave up), RetroFreak

I included some pics of my setup/caos

Spend $60 bucks on the faux-surround PS4 Gold Headset and USB transmitter and call it a day?

You might be just as happy with 5.1, with the surrounds placed on the walls almost as far back as your headboard. Is this all theoretical or do you have the system? If so, give it a shot.
BTW, what software did you use to produce the room sketch?

2018 HT: Denon AVR-X4400H 7.1.4; 80% gaming, 20% movies, <1% music
Speakers: Klipsch RP-450C; Klipsch RP-250F; Side & Rear: Klipsch R-51M; Height: JBL 2.5" satellites; SVS PC-2000;
Platform: Xbox One X on TCL 4k 55" 55P607
Room from hell: 16x16x18' open loft, thin walls, hard surfaces, lots of street noise
