What Size Display Do You Use for Gaming?
I've posted a lot of polls about displays and preferred sizes for home theater, but not yet for gaming. This poll exists to change that.
Gamers have distinctly different requirement for their displays versus movie lovers. Features like low input lag and variable frame rate become far more important, while qualities such as wide viewing angles and Smart TV functionality count for less. Plus, gamers tend to sit closer to their displays, especially PC gamers who keep their systems on a desk.
Of course, here on AVS Forum we have a Home Theater Gaming section because this is the home of AV enthusiasts who appreciate the value of a big picture. And with 4K (including HDR) gaming now a reality on PC and consoles, and with lots of affordable TVs and projectors that can handle 4K/60p input available, gamers who might not have considered the value of visual immersion when it comes to their gaming experience have many viable options with which to make the leap.
Let's get down to the options:
1. Laptop or tablet screen
2. Monitor 40" or smaller
3. Monitor 40" or larger
4. Ultra-wide monitor (any size)
5. Multiple monitors (any size)
5. TV 55" or smaller
6. 65" TV
7. 75" TV
8. 85" TV or larger
I made this poll multiple-choice, so if you game on more than one type/size display, please choose all the answers that apply. Vote in the poll located directly above this post.
