Set up Dual G29's on my PS4 Pro...Question...

Hi all, jumped on BB running the G29 set-up for $199.00. But MISSED the free shifter! Oh well.

Anyway, I knew I should have checked (but likely would have bought anyway), but I have to say that I'm flabbergasted that these require a hard-wired connection to the PS4...the fact that they come with a 5' usb cable is hilarious to me. It's an aesthetic nightmare for a guy like me, never mind a big PITA for my arrangement. Why on EARTH are these not bluetooth?! The AC power I can understand, but a USB cable in 2017? Unreal.

Anyway, my question is: rather than running two USB cables to the FRONT of the console (another nightmare for Mr. Anal) can I simply get a USB splitter and connect them both to the rear USB port?

Maybe this is an obvious yes or no, my apologies!

My Parlor and Theatre: "Jimbo's Dugout" :

Actual phone call (see pic to left):
Tech (responding to laughter): "I'm sorry sir, did I miss something?"
Me: "Yeah, a case of Diet Mountain Dew walking across my living room."
