All model is the best.. when I had the rs400 I learned not only from the rs400 thread but I learned way more when I went into the 520 and 620 thread because it was way more active and yet they were still similar on some way..

@ARROW-AV your comparison pictures are low resolution and hard to read, even when opened separately. Any chance you can re-upload higher quality pics? Thanks!

When quoting, please try to use spoiler tags for images (or leave images out) as otherwise this thread is going to really get bogged down.

I edited post#7 and put in spoiler tag .. thx, I originally took those smartphone screen shots of the webinar to keep handy the different models and specs for myself, glad others find them useful also.
fwiw, I will be a NX7 owner possibly Summer-2019, depends on the company bonus, till then my RS400 is doing the HT duties
Sidebar. I hardly use the traditional computer desktop forum , mostly only mobile via Tapatalk, it’s actually easier to embed photos .

I'm sure no one knows how these projectors perform actually since they are not released yet.

Is there any possible particularly useful "solved" of this? You have to have some sort of gamma processing otherwise a single bright pixel on the screen renders the whole system unusable. DI is always going to be a compromise solution.

Which is why part of me is questioning why an Owner's Thread is starting when no one will be owning these projectors for at least another month. I envision another speculation thread that goes off-topic fast when we already have one of those.

I believe the reasoning was for an owner who can contribute more when they are released. I'm cool with that, just hope it doesn't get all crazy

Not an owner. But he does currently have one for evaluation.

Ok I thought he was clearly stating that he is not a dealer and he owns one, but you know it better. Nevertheless my NX9 is pre-ordered and I am just awaiting of it, hopefully will be very soon.

No doubt. This thread should be closed and locked until Arrow gets one and these start hitting the street. If not, we will have another who knows how many pages of speculation thread before we get to any real owner impressions and reports. I think this thread was started WAY too early!

I respect Arrow's contributions and certainly like and appreciate what he's done in the anticipation thread, but this post relates to a matter of fairness and protocol.

An owner's thread needs an owner, does it not? I thought it was the first owner here who would be the one eligible with standing to open an owner's thread? This thread now preemptively divested that person of that opportunity.

At least lock it down, as Toe said, to avoid wasted space until actual production model, ownership insight.

EDIT: I'm editing this post because as it later turned out, Arrow did in fact turn out to be one of the first owner's of the NX9.
