Our local Imax (I call it mini imax since it has a smaller Imax screen) has stopped showing Imax 3D, does only Imax 2D, now. Dang it. Only does Real 3D. I noticed it's not showing MI-Flallout in Rea 3D either, just IMAX 2D. The theaters showing movies in Real 3D are only doing it for 2 weeks, then remove it and show only 2D from then on for about a month.

Actually, it may just be IMAX 2D showing, not 3D. But it will be a 3D RealD release. Yeah, it's the same here on 3D, they only show it for 2 weeks and then it's only 2D.

I was out in the wastelands when Alpha was playing at the theaters. If I'd known there wasn't going to be a 3D Bluray release, I'd drove the 200 miles to see it in 3D at the nearest theater. I would really like the distributors make public the decision about the release formats of bluray discs earlier in the game. But we have no rights to that information. We're just the paying customers.

I'm the other way. If I had seen it in 3D and then they don't release a Blu ray 3D version then I would rather have seen it in 2D. Seeing it one way and never being able to view it that way again, just doesn't sit well with me. I almost went and saw MI:Fallout in 3D when it was out, now I'm glad I didn't.
