It looks like light output will be the same as the Q900's from last year.

The 85 is listed as Quantum HDR 32x which is the same as the new 75 and 82 inch model. With the 65 inch variant listed as HDR 24x.

Still no solid info on whether they're fully HDMI 2.1 compliant?

Assuming the specs are the same for both sets, $5,000 for a 3" jump in size between the 82" and the 85" is a bit ridiculous, why even offer both of those sizes in the same series?

My guess is that 82" looks like a great deal when you compare it to 85". 10K is much more palatable than 15K. Quite a few people will think that they can save 5K just foregoing 3". Still the same technology, big TV just 3" smaller.

Why aren't they advertising the supposedly super wide viewing angles?

The older 85 inch used to be 20k so it sounds okay. Samsung always charges higher pricing for bigger tvs. Le Eco (before they left usa) was closest at getting the price down on a 85 inch. $4,000 with FALD was a nice price for a tv.

X900F 85 inch is available for 4.4k and it has been reviewed by our very own imagic as a fantastic TV.

There are other sizes available this year. The 65" is $5K. (Yes, I know that some think it's pointless to get this smaller size, so spare me.)

Thanks for the article

1. What it gives me practice
Intelligent sound
Optimal sounds for each scene

2. Intelligence redefined
Quantum Processor 8K
The Quantum Processor 8K enables today's content to be remastered into stunning 8K detail. It also optimizes sound for each scene, adjusts brightness to the room's environment and customizes content recommendations.

This is the publication of Samsung here on the new line
And do not understand what they sell?

Just their way to make you believe $10k is a bargain price for a TV that should only be $8k. Which will be the going price in three months. I'll let the early adopters take one for the team.

Samsung had two 8K & 4K side-by-side displays at CES where the 4K looked better in resolution and grayscale, the rest is hype and BS. No reviewer will tell you this truth.

Five thousand dollars for a 65" LCD tv? I can see why they're pushing 8k.

Interesting that you've been a member for 17 years but made only twenty something posts. And posted to say this.

Are you an industry insider? I ask because Samsung didn't publicly show any 4K displays, let alone side by side with 8K displays. Publicly.

Stuck up, half witted, scruffy looking, nerf herder.
Double True!

The first such 4K & 8K display we noticed was rotating back and forth. It might have been on the north side of the Samsung public area. I guess I should have taken a video but what for purpose except you?
