Interesting. I have seen zero to extremely little ghosting with 3D. This is the best set I've ever had for 3D.

Is there a way as to check this? Just to be sure? Because Sony keeps on answering me simply that the TV "supports 4k at 60fps on hdmi 1,2,3,4"

Sure, the TV kicks into HDR mode when playing something that supports HDR like an UHD Blu-Ray.

And the other tv's were on the same exact setup that this tv had problems with. It may just be that the Samsung you have does in fact upscale OTA channels better. This tv does an awesome job in blu-rays and the one 3D movie I watched looked great. What problems are you having with broadcast channels? My main problem is that the picture just doesn't look as sharp, a little blurry (not a noise problem). But at least it is watchable now. But I would have expected this tv to do a better job than the lower end tv's that I tried before I got this one. But the color on this to is a lot better and richer. But, it's not perfect. I had pretty bad banding problems on the other tv's. This tv has some banding, but it's so minimal that I don't notice on most things. I have no flashlighting or clouding either. But I do have some blooming that is noticeable with white text on black screen.
I was experiencing low rez channels looking terrible or barely passable and HD channels (especially commercials) looking decent but not as good as the other sets around the house. Yes, the low resolution channels look really bad. I can't watch them. I also see some pixelation (not sure if this is the right term) when there is little action, even on the better channels. I have only watched one 3D movie, and I did notice some scenes where I could see a shadow of the image (is that ghosting?). It wasn't a trail from movement. But the overall 3D experience was very good. But, I have nothing to compare it to, except the other Sony that had horrible banding. I have also spent many hours/days messing with the tv! I wish there was one perfect tv, but I guess we have to decide what's the most important thing for us. I don't have cable either. I have Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime. So my main focus is on how that looks, including blu-rays. Regular dvds don't look great either. But when football season comes around, I hope that I'm not too upset with this tv.

You could use them for Netflix/Amazon [this input is denoted as Apps(Video)]. I personally like the Apps(Video) setting better for Netflix/Amazon...see my signature for the link.

You can change the settings for each "input," not each individual App. There are several inputs:

Video
Video(Apps)
HDMI1
HDMI2
HDMI3
HDMI4
TV
...

There may be more that I can't recall off the top of my head. Feel free to keep asking questions, that's how we all learn.

Depends on the price you're willing to pay. There will always be something new/better each year. I think you should get the x940c, unless the new Samsung is comparable in size and price.

The idea of upgrading my x93 to the 94 is dead as my dealer can no longer get stock. Was offered the 94d but just not sold on that. Hopefully next years models come back with a bang

For those guy's with the judder issue you're not alone. Ive been trying to minimise this for weeks. Its only noticeable when the camera pans quickly across. Ive looked all over the internet for info. I currently use TrueCinema for motion setings. I play the majority of my movies in kodi. I guess its a limitation with the tv. Glad im not the only one! I guess its something you'll have to live with. I thought the 24p mode feature was to help things look smooth with 24p content etc.
