I have a 14 year old 4WD Pickup that is my HD/Garden shop/Snowstorm utility vehicle.

It had a flat and was leaking around the bead. So I knew the tire had to come off and the wheel cleaned and re-installed. I had this flat in the back of my pickup.

I figured the new Sam's Club which is still nearly vacant (The 10 year old Costco several blocks away has all the members) would be a good choice to get in and out of their tire shop fast.

I spoke to the guy at the tire desk and he said no problem he'd fix it within the hour. I shopped for awhile and picked up the new Eagles concert DVD. Came back and I saw the guy doing a really good job of cleaning the rim, installing a new valve stem, applying a sealer to the rim, remounting the tire and balancing it. Since he wasn't done I went back for a slice of pizza and coke and when I returned they had put the tire back on my truck, and another guy was cranking the spare up under the truck bed with the crank that he must of had to search for a while under my seat.

When they brought out the keys I said how much? ....."sir, there is no charge for Sam's Club members to fix flats" It didn't matter where I bought them.

Cool. We used to belong to Sams, but when we moved out to the boonies, Costco is closer, so we switched. Plus they have gas pumps.

Try their 1 hour digital photo printing... nice quality at Sams and Costco. Better than the mail order services I've tried.

That Eagles DVD is great. How much was it at Sams? I recall several times that DVDs were cheaper the first week of release at BB, CC, and even WalMart than at Sams.

Yep, it's the only place I'll buy gas. The gas alone pays for the price of the membership.

Didn't know about the flats.....nice tip.
